Consent can sometimes be confusing – but whatever your situation, when someone says ‘no’, you need to respect it
People can get surprisingly confused about what consent means. Knowing whether someone has given their consent, being sure that fumbles you’re engaging in – sexual or otherwise – are fully consensual, or giving a clear consent signal yourself can sometimes be a blurry area.
But whether you’re part of a loved-up couple or a happily single pringle, volunteering campaign Project Consent want you remember this important rule:
Whether you’re dancing…
Having a laugh…
Or just chilling out..
When someone says ‘no’, you need to respect it.
